Zakiyya holds a Bachelors Degree in commerce (Bcom Accounting) from Rhodes University where she graduated in 2005. Zakiyya joined Karolia Jeena Incorporated in 2006 where she completed her articles and then worked in both the accounting and tax departments after completion of her articles.
She then moved to Richmark Holdings in April 2011 as Financial Manager and became Director of the Group in 2021.
